“ The food quality, portion sizes, and pricing are great! Don't let the fact that it's sharing building space with a gas station deter a visit. It's actually far above what I would have expected based on location alone. The Rex's philly cheesesteak sandwich was perfectly made and I'll be sure to drop by again if I'm in the area. Fair warning that the ONLY downside is that there is very little indoor seating so you will probably have to sit in your car to eat. ”

At first glance at the menu, I was greeted with decent prices and a variety of cheese steaks, burgers and classic American sides. I chose the cheesesteak that bears the restaurant’s name hoping to understand Rex’s gastronomical philosophy. Rex’s cheese steak was incredible! The quality and the portions, just superb. The bacon, peppers, cheese and beef were all correctly proportionate and resulted in a synergy of comfort food flavors! The jalapeno poppers were big, filled with cheese and fried to perfection. The sample of clam chowder I tried also warrants another trip! Rex’s is indeed a gem like others have commented. The staff working behind the counter were friendly, helpful and seemly reflect confidence in their food. And they’ve earned it! Rex’s is now on my list of places I’ll be returning to regularly. ”
“ It's very good food, we staying in Coeur D'alene for couple weeks for work, seen Rex Burger on Google when we were looking for something to eat in the area, the food looked good and the location was close to us so I decided to go get some food, when I arrived at the address I was like oh crab it is inside of a gas station, but I m here already so I will give a try. Omg that's one of the best phillys I had in a long time, and the service is awesome. We had to stop there again to eat. We end up eating there 3 times in one week. Bottom line, DONT LET THE GAS STATION SCARE YOU AWAY. U HAVE TO TRY IT. ”
